 My Girl: Chapter 12:

Journey to Lucknow...(2)

 

-I’m fed up !

She whispered in his ear…

-I want them to disappear!

She looks at the bodyguards…

Pouting her lips to him…

He retains a smile…

Khushi:-don’t tell me that we goanna spend next hours of our journey with those men?

Arnav:-those men are following you! not me!

He said…

Kh:-I know…

She said…

Looking both throw the window…

Everyone was thinking something and both are calm now…

After some time…he felt her head on his shoulder…

He looks at her and finds she was sleeping…

He tries to pose her head on his chest to make it comfortable to her….

She’s sleeping calmly…and was like an angel…

He doesn’t want to disturb her little sleep…he just places his hands, delicately, around her waist to make more space for her…

She’s close and soft and it felt so good to have her like that, practically , sleeping in his arms…

he smiles...

she's adorable while sleeping...

so beautiful...

He felt another head falling on his other shoulder…

When he turns his head, he finds that the bodyguard was sleeping also and so also his head falling on Arnav …(lol)

With his hand he pulled his head away…

Ar:-What the…

from his move and voice...

Khushi wakes up…lazily:

-Arnav…

-it’s nothing…sorry…khushi…sleep…I’m here!

She closes her eyes again…putting a hand on his chest…she discovered she had the locket still on her hand …and she smiles…while her eyes still closed…

She’s not sleeping now…but finds this really nice to be like this in his arms...and then the way he said “sleep…I’m here”…she stay like this for awhile...

Kh:-I’m hungry!

She said against his chest…

He looks down to see her…

-I’m supposed to be your girl friend! Do something!

-what?

-I want to eat!

He looks around…

They are in desert…it means nothing around, just trees…and earth…

He looks again at her…

She pouted her lips…

Arnav:-I didn’t think about this!...

He turns to the bodyguard:

Arn:-you have something to eat?

The BD next to them nodded negatively like a stupid…

Ar:-now! That you mention it! I’m feeling hungry too!

Kh:-and me..me too!

She said disappointed…

Ar:-where we are now? there is no restaurant in here?

The driver:-after an hour from here, we will stop in the first restaurant, sir!

Khushi pouted:-an hour?...(she looks at Arnav)

He looks at her amused…
-just an hour! don't act like kids!
she looks at him...and she felt like: 

she wants to be only with him …and he too…he wanted to drive and have her next to him…like they are a…real couple…without all those people around...

he looks at her…she is looking at her mobile:

-48 minutes and 23 seconds and we will eat…

-mmm

he smirks...

He wanted to eat her…now…she can't stop pouting her lips to him....and it's just irrsesitble...what a thought! …he shouldn’t think like that…

Kh:-waiting to reach restaurant…Iet’s  play little game!

Ar:-okey…

How he can refuse…if she is so adorable like that…

-ok…we have to look at each other eyes and the first who laugh is the loser, fine?

He smirks…

Ar:-I will obiouvsly win!

Kh:-let's see!

She holds his chin…

Kh:-look straight at my eyes!

They start the game…

And she loses all the time…

She was amused…looking how he was looking serious looking at her…and she laughs…

He has the time to admire her eyes and then her laugh…

Beautiful…she's not only beautiful but she has all what he likes...what his heart likes...

This word wasn’t enough to describe her…he thought...

 she had enough playing and inventing games…and then she make him listen to her music through her phone…he had heard all the bollywood songs  and that too without his contentment:

She was singing to him…teasing him…because he doesn’t like all that…songs and that too romantic songs with her doing that and singing to him…before the bodyguards!

The car stopped…in front of a restaurant…

The bodyguards and the driver went out…

Khushi the same…all smiling...

She gets out the car…

Breathing the fresh air and jumping as her legs are paining from the pressure of his legs…he has long legs…

Finally in the restaurant…

Her and him in the same table…

The others on a table…

And then Akash and Lavanya in the other car joined also…and comes to have lunch with them:

Arnav finds that Akash is a cool man…Akash gives him a high five like he was an old buddy and that comfort Arnav…

Akash:-how was your first three hours journey?

Arnav:-good!

Kh:-amazing bhai!

-perfect! That’s first time Khushi is not bored after she made such long journey on car!

Lavanya looks immediately at Arnav…and then at Khushi…khushi could find in La’s eyes hundred of questions…

-we need to go washroom!

Lavanya said…she can’t wait more to know from Khushi what happened with her…

While the girls leave to washroom...

Boys are alone…

Akash was observing Arnav…

Akash understands immediately…more than Lavanya…when Khushi was telling him about Arnav and the way he defends her and the way he was about to lose his life for her…when he saw him in the hospital…and his personal experience…Akash was understanding what was happening between his sister and that stranger…

When the girls come…

They start eating their sandwiches…

Arnav feeling good with Akash…they are both speaking about football and Arnav finds Akash really cool and Lavanya so friendly ...

he keeps looking at Khushi...

Khushi…

He wanted to be only with her…

And continues this journey with only her and also…if he could, he wanted to spend all this week with her only…

Akash was talking to him but Arnav could feel her feet coming to him…under the table…

He looks at her…

She arched her eyebrow, amused…retaining her laugh seeing his expression...

-I prefer Manchester United…they are unbelievable…I mean…see the last match?…Arnav?

Under the table it was a war of feet…Arnav was trying his best to tickle her and she does the same…

Arnav:-mmm?

Akash:-see the last match?

Arnav:-well…yeah…

Khushi takes her phone and send him a message:

“keys of the car are with me”

he sends her a message:“so?”

she looks at him with wide eyes and opened mouth...and typed another message nervously:

“so, let’s escape from the three big heads”

She sends him and then seeing him read it …

He then looks at her…she winked…

Kh:-god! I need to go again to the washroom!

She said…and then went out but towards the car…

Arnav looked at them…

Arnav:-well…me too…we should all go to the washroom because the journey still long!

He said while he was standing up…

Akash nodded:

Akash:-yes! Feel comfortable buddy!

Arnav felt he was like a tomato to talk like that…but it was ok…he joins her…

She throw the keys for him:

Kh:-hope you had your driving licence?

Ar:-what do you think?

They said while they rise the car and accelerates leaving them all in the restaurant…

Arnav:-seatbelt!

Kh:-yes, of course!

-and close that window, it’s cold!

-yeah...chef!

And she opens the Radio FM loudly

Kh:-my god! Finally some freedom!

Arnav was amused…

-call Akash! Tell him you’re with me!

-ok!

Khushi called and Akash was firstly angry because they went like that and they still waiting for them and after he understood the situation…and tell her that it's ok!

Khushi cuts the call and looks towards Arnav:

Kh:-oh! felt so nice!....but poor Akash, he will take them with his car, now!

Arnav smiles…

Arnav:-especially the big one sitting next to me! He’s awkward…

Khushi:-Arnav! Look! Look how beautiful this place is!

-yes! awesome!

-Arnav your locket still with me! Stop the car a little; let me help you wear it around your neck!

-it’s ok after you will do it!

-but…

-wear it you, now around your neck to not lose it, I will take it later!

-what? Really?

-yeah! Why?

-but it’s so precious for you!

-I’m not giving it to you! It’s just for a moment! Then I will take it back!

Yes, it was so precious and giving it even awhile was impossible but she’s Khushi and he can be confident that it will be ok if he gives that precious thing a little to her…

Khushi wears the locket around her neck and then she couldn’t stop smiling like an idiot…

Arnav couldn’t explain to himself why he wanted to see that on her…he’s sure his mum would be happy if she see her bahu wearing it…

Bahu?...but Khushi wasn’t her bahu…she’s not his wife…she’s not even his lover…he doesn’t even know what she would think about him…all that was a deal and being like that with him doesn’t explain she liked him…she’s just considering him like a friend…she’s bubbly and friendly…

Kh:-why you’re silent?

Ar;-nothing!

Kh:-Arnav…you know I’m so happy to spend all this week with you!

-yeah…me too! More than a week will be suicide!

He teased her and Khushi bits his arm playfully

-After this week what will happen then?

She asked him…

He was silent…

-Arnav?

-I will forget about you and you will forget about me!

-what?

He doesn’t seem to be kidding…

She felt some pain in her heart after hearing his words…

Kh:-really Arnav?

He looks towards her and she was crying…

He stops the car immediately

-khushi what Now?

-(sobs)

-why we are even talking about that, now?

-cause (sobs) I want to know (sobs) will you be able to forget me? (sobs, sobs, sobs)

-shhhhh…no… ok? No!...never…this will not happen!

-really? (sobs)

-really

She still sobbing…

-really Khushi…I can’t forget you… it’s just a joke!...I will be your friend  if you want too!

-I want…I want…

She hugs him…jumping on him…her sudden move makes him jerked…

-Arnav! You’re nice…you’re so nice!

She said breaking the hug and smiling…

He wipes her tears with his thumps, softly…

Gradually, she felt him closer…

Ar:-you’re so childish!

Kh:-and you're so nice!

-don’t cry like babies anymore!

She pecks his lips suddenly…

When it felt good…she pecks him again and again…

It was temptation…

When she stopped he holds her hand…making her closer from him again…

Breathing on her face…she closes her eyes…she wished he kisses her but all what he does is kissing her forehead and then her cheeks…where trace of her tears still there like waiting for his touch…

-let’s go, now!

They continue together their journey…
