 Chapter 15: For my Angel...

New Life...

When Arnav enters his room…

She was sitting in the middle of the bed…

Waiting for him????!!!

He doesn’t know what to do but…he enters and closes the door…

He finds all the room completely transformed by a beautiful decoration…

Flowers…

Candles…

And the jasmine and flower’s scent was dominating the whole place…

When he approaches…

She suddenly looks at him throw the veil of her dupatta…taking a look secretly and then she takes off all the dupatta from her head and then she stands up from her position…

She looks at him:

Kh:-it’s you? I thought it’s again Anjeliji…she told me to stay in that position till you come and you come, thanks god…

Khushi sits on the bed…pulled her lehenga up a little bit and starts massaging her foot…

Kh:-it does hurt to sit like that, wearing that heavy outfit! You don’t have any idea!

She looks at him…

He was silent…and he was destabilized…

She looks then at the candles:

Kh:-and those! I was scared that some candle burns something and just imagine how much this is dangerous! People thought it’s romantic, but you don’t have any idea about stories I heard about such accidents due to candles…

She stands up and blows on all the candles one after one…

Once Khushi is stressed…she could talk non sense, nonstop…avoiding his eyes…she wears her heels again…

Kh:-ok! ...Here I’m going!

She walks towards the door but he was standing just there, before the door…:

A:-you’re going?  where?

K:-to…Buaji!

-she’s resting!

-to lily!

-she’s sleeping!

-To Payal!

-she left!

-to the washroom!

-we have one here!

Khushi looks at him…

She was sure, now certain…Payal was right…he forget about their deal…he’s like all the men in this earth, right???

What should a man does in his Suhaag raat…well, she knows…even Anjeli has said to her before she gets out that she should be courageous…what? Why???? 

No way!

Khushi ignores what he said and tries to avoid him and opens the door…but he holds her hand and bring her back to the room, not so much harshly but his hand on her arm was firm enough to bring her back to her first position…locking the room’s door firmly and giving her a severe gaze…

Hesitantly, she thinks, in her brain to something to say to him, she scared now:

K:-but Mr. Raizada!...remember our deal?

He looks at her angrily:

-which deal?

He forgets??? did he forgets???? Devi Maya!!!!

K:-the deal…our deal…remember, we chook hands…

-yes, I remember! So?

He said that and he pulled his hand towards her…

She gasped and she closes her eyes…she doesn’t want to create a scene but if his hand touched her face or if he tries to misbehave with her, then she will yell and ask for help…

K:-Mr. Raizada…Please!

She opens her eyes to see that he was in the same position but he was surprised, intrigued by her behavior…

He tends more his hand and that to pick a towel placed under the door and as Khushi was standing also there, she thought he will touch her but she was wrong…still, she felt scared from him…

She looks at him again, scared and he was angry because he wasn’t able to understand her...

they look at each other:

Kh:-w…what?

Ar:-what?

He asked angrily and then he walks towards his closet…taking off his coat…

She stands up there like a status waiting for him to see his next step…

She’s ready to open the door and escape…any moment…

But…no…indifferently …he takes some clothes and disappears in the bathroom…

Khushi was feeling all stressed and uncomfortable…she felt the weight of what she is wearing of jewelries, she starts taking off the heavy necklace and the earrings…

And then he comes out…

She still next to the door standing like that…all the jewelries in both her hand but he ignores and walks towards a couch there….

He sits and opens his laptop…

She takes a deep breath…and advances in the room slowly…poses there her stuffs and sits on the corner of the bed, calmly…

After almost 15 minutes, she understands that he’s working…and she’s safe…she’s happy that again he doesn’t disturb her…like she thought...

She looks here and there and she remembers that all her clothes are left in the other room:

kh:-erm…Mr. Raizada?

-you can call me Arnav…(he said without looking at her)

-ok…Mr Arnav, I left all my clothes in the other room!

-Arnav without Mr.! ….and no…all your clothes are here!

-really?

A:-yes! Remember Khushi! Everyone here doesn’t know about our deal, they think we are together for real…so, from now, you’re supposed to be my wife before our families, so, it’s better you get used to call me Arnav and I call you: Khushi! And this is our room, your clothes should be only here, ok?

That was the first time; he calls her by her name…

Kh:-ok!

She stands up happily to the closet…but finds only his clothes…

Ar:-the other side!

He said without even looking…

She opens the other side of the closet…and finds all her clothes…

Ar:-I ordered HP to do it!

She keeps silent…

She chooses her white salwar kameez and goes to the bathroom to change…

 That’s when Arnav stops typing on his laptop…he stops pretending he was working and then lays in the couch there…for a little…

Then when he heard the door of the bathroom opened he comes back to his laptop…

She comes and sits again in the corner of the bed…she wasn’t sure what to do next…she’s sleepy but all that was new for her…

This room, this bed and the presence of this man…she couldn’t sleep if he doesn’t…she wanted to know first: where he will sleep?

k:-you’re working?

She asked nicely…he couldn’t be rude, he answers:

A:-yes!

-late in night like this?

-yes!

-your work is difficult?

-yes!

-you want to sleep?

-yes!...I mean…not yet!

-me, Yes!

-ok! You take the bed! I take the couch!

-great!

She just likes him this way…all nice… all understanding….now that he said it…she could sleep…

She puts her head on the pillow and covered all herself with blanket... after some seconds, even her thoughts disappeared gradually, she slept immediately…

When he heard her regular breath…

He stands up…

He looks at her…she’s so beautiful…

She kept wearing the mangalsutra…and the white suits her so much…

and then....

Arnav gets angry against himself…

First why he’s all the time thinking she’s cute, lovely, and beautiful while he loves and still love someone else…???????

He gets out the room to the poolside, he takes a deep breath and looks up at the sky….

The woman he loves was there…far away…

Could she see him? Could she feel him?

He keeps looking…waiting for a sign…

He stays there…feeling guilty…that during all the previous days…he doesn’t thought once about her…

He made maybe Lily happy but he was lost in the process…

His heart today was beating crazily when he saw Khushi coming towards him in that lehenga…

And he was satisfied to apply the sindor for her…and to make step by step all the rituals…holding her hand…feeling that she becomes his responsibility…

For the first time…as his first wedding was a civil one…

He doesn’t do any of this before…

He remembers that night when he keeps looking at her at Lily’s room…

And this night: when he enters and saw that she was waiting for him…the room all decorated for them…

He doesn’t believe himself…

all this was New for him...but...how dare he???

How he could do all this to his first and pure love…

Why all this?

Why?

Because he maybe wanted this…he maybe forget…forget the past…he will never let that happen...

his heart is and will be always faithful...

In the morning, Khushi opens her eyes…

She jerked, looking here and there and then she remembered her new life…her new bed…

She pouted and gets up…

He’s not in any place to be seen…

And then she looks throw the french windows and she saw him, sleeping by the poolside…and that too without a blanket…

And at the same time, someone was knocking at the door…

She hesitates…between opening the door or going and waking him up first…

She chooses the second option, she walks towards Arnav who is sleeping there and wakes him:

-hey Mr. Raizada! …Mr. Raizada!....

He opens his eyes difficultly:

-yeah!

-why you slept here? You said you will t…

-this is not of your business!

Harshly, he pushed her hand on his shoulder and he stands up…

She was shocked of this behavior but she doesn’t say anything…

Both enter the room and heard again the knock…

Arnav opens and it was Anjeli…

Anjeli with a big smile:-Good morning! Good morning!

She was holding a new saree for Khushi…

Anjeli:-I know…I know that I’m mean ...I'm disturbing you both but…it’s for you Khushi (she gives the saree) be ready and come down, my dear…ok?

Khushi nodded positively…

Anjeli seeing them all troubled, she couldn’t tease them more…she showed some respect to her brother who seems to not be well…

Anjeli gets out and Khushi looks at him but he disappeared from there also…

With a heavy heart, Khushi prepared herself…

She wears that yellow saree…applied sandor, wears her mangalsutra and let her long hair natural without adding anything…

She was about to leave the room and at the door, he was entering while she was leaving…

They met and she looks at him…but he doesn't...abd no word was talked…

She comes downstairs…

All surprised by that behavior…

But she smiles as she saw that all was there around the table…all but Buaji who is resting in her room as always and Lily who still sleeping…

She comes and took the blessing of Nani…

Nani was all happy to see the bahu of the house, all beautiful and kind and polite…

Khushi knows what she should do…

She went to the kitchen…

She thought a little and then tears come out her eyes…

She felt alone…

Lonely in that house…

The two people she loved the most still resting and not with her…

And now she has to cook and remembering the way he said:”this not of your business”…

Khushi wipes her tears and cooked for them  Halawa puri…

She was cooking but she wasn’t enjoying that as usual…

She was just cooking…

When she felt a hug…

Two tiny hands holding her legs…

That was:

Lily’s hug…

Khushi picked her up and hugs her with all her force…

Kh:-you slept too much! You! Lazy Lily!

Lily smiles to her mum and she seems that she’s just out of bed…and she just wakes up and she runs straight to her mum…Khushi smiles to see that…

Lily:-I’m hungry mummy!

Khushi’s heart melts…

-yes! yes! my baby! Just few time and we will have breakfast!

She makes Lily sits on the Kitchen desk and looks at her recipe:

Kh:-Guess this is what?

Lily took a look...

Lily:-delicious food!

Khushi giggled and then starts to explain to Lily what she was cooking…

Khushi finished and starts serving them…

She starts hearing  the first moan…

Anjeli:-mmmm…oh my God…oh my God! I'm in heaven…yummy…

Shyam was also smiling having it…:

-it’s really so delicious!

Akash was also there enjoying the food, he will stay for some days in Delhi for some work...

That’s when Arnav comes…and sits next to Lily…

Nani:-we are sorry, chotte, we couldn’t wait for you, to taste this!

Nani smiles and continues eating…

Khushi served Arnav finally and sits next Lily the other side…

Arnav didn’t touch at what Khushi prepares…

He starts sipping his black coffee silently…

No one has noticed, all were eating…but Khushi noticed it…

She's feeling hurt…

She looks at Lily…and she starts helping her to eat…trying to think at his sudden behavior...

His plate was untouchable…

And he stands up…

Note: Don't ask me why he's bahaving like that :p try to know why my lovely friends by your own...or wait for next updates...
