For Buaji sake...

Payal comes also to the hospital…

Knowing by the neighbors also…as Khushi doesn’t call her…

Nani , Anjeli and Payal are consoling her now…

But Khushi couldn’t stop crying…she felt all weak and stands up…

All stand up also…

Kh:-I’m going to wash my face! I will come back!

Nani:-yes! dear!

Payal:-I will come along with you!

K:-no! I prefer being alone!

She walks away from them…

Arnav and Shyam were back from the doctor’s office…

And in the hall of the hospital…they met…

Khushi looks at Arnav…and Arnav was looking at her too…

Both look at each other…

They don’t know what happens right at that moment…

Shyam looking at that, he wanted to disappear but finding that it will be really awkward…

Khushi was looking at Arnav…and only him…she doesn’t saw a pity but a concern in his eyes…

He walks towards her:

-Miss Gupta! Anything you need…just tell me…I…

But he doesn’t finish his words…she looks at him

And then she walks away…

He was hoping to hear anything…

But nothing…nothing at all…

This is the first time, he proposes a help for someone…

The first time, someone ignores his effort being nice and concerned…

And the first he doesn’t even feel bad about it!

He knows she’s suffering!

Late in the evening:

The doctor allows them to enter…

When they all enter the hospital room…

Khushi holds her Buaji hand…trying to hide her pain…

Nani looks at Buaji:

Nani:-Namaste!

Buaji said difficultly:-Namaste!

Nani smiles…

K:-Buaji! They are Lily’s family: her nani, her aunty and her husband and her father…

Arnav approaches and greets her…

Ar:-I hope you’re better now!

Buaji nodded…

Buaji keeps looking at him…and then at Khushi…

Nani..whatever was the situation was excited…she wants to benefit from the situation somehow…she doesn’t know that Buaji has a dangerous disease…or nothing of that…she was thinking, she’s getting well…

Nani:-we are not only Lily’s family…we could be one family!

Arnav looks at her and then nodded negatively to that she doesn’t say anything about the marriage proposal…

Not now…not before Khushi who is sad…not at this situation!

But Nani ignores that completely…

She looks at Buaji and then smiles…

-well…we liked your daughter Khushi so much!

Buaji looks at Nani wanting to understand the point…

Between old ladies…everything is possible…and by just exchanging looks…Buaji starts to understand…she knows already that Arnav is a single father…

Both understand each other…but silently…

Khushi doesn’t understand the point…Buaji…yes…

The others remain silence…

But it was it…

A secret promise has been taken…

In Gupta house:

-what???

-you heard it right! I want you to get married! This is my wish before I die!

Khushi takes the two hands of buaji and kisses her palms…hiding her face there…she cried silently:

Buaji:-I know the doctor told you everything, Sanka Devi…

Khushi sobs…

-you don’t cry my princess…will you realize my wish? Will you make this old lady happy and in rest?

Khushi nodded positively:

-you want my marriage and you’re in that state?

Buaji nodded:

-a huge wedding…I want to see the mehendi on your palms…wearing the lehenga…wearing the mangalsutra…I want to see you with your husband and your family in law…

Khushi was crying silently…but smiling throws her tears…nodding positively to her Buaji…

-I want to see you protected before I...

Khushi puts her finger before her Buaji's mouth...

she gets up from there and goes towards Buaji closet…she takes out all the photos of the guys her buaji gives to her for the arranged marriages she always plan to her…

K:-All right my queen! This is Sameer and this one is….who is this one? And all single and just want to marry me? right?...see! I have just to choose…and your wish will be true…

She said that and sits down on her knees…putting her head on her buaji’s lap…she cries again...

Buaji takes the photos from her hand…and then caresses her cheeks to wipe her tears…

Buaji caresses her hair and slowly makes her look at her and said:

-your husband is no one from those! Promise me that you will agree to marry him!

-I promise!

-Remember this promise! You go now and prepare yourself! Put some make up on!

-he will come now and take me in his home?

Khushi holds her Buaji knees…childishly…

-Pagal! no!...he and his family will come to ask for your hand, officially today!

RM: Arnav and Nani:

Arnav:-No way! Nani! I couldn’t do this while her buaji is dying!

Nani:-you do whatever you want! I’m doing whatever I want!

Nani walked away…he runs and stands before her…

Ar:-No! It’s inappropriate, the lady is sick and you’re going to ask for her daughter’s hand!

Nani:-chote! All is done! I asked already! ...I visited her already before! ...Now, We are going to just fix the wedding’s date!

Arnav looks at Nani…shocked, angry and nervously….

Khushi called Payal as she wants her friend with her…

Even if her marriage proposal will be arranged…and fast…

She wanted it to be complete…only for the sake of her Buaji, she could do anything…

They are in her room…

Khushi selects the red saree…

Kh:-even if I was decided to give him this saree back…still…it’s so beautiful…I’m goanna wear it! I didn’t have the time to buy another good one!

Payal looks at her:

P:-are you ok, Khushi?

Khushi looks at her friend, helplessly…

Kh:-No!

Payal:-you said yes for a man you don’t even know!

-I know!

-you’re crazy!

-if this will make my Buaji happy than I’m ok! I can’t refuse this to her! (she takes a deep breath) I can do this! But what I couldn’t do is to act that I’m alright before her, whenever I’m with her, I can’t stop my tears…

Payal comes to her and hugs her tight…

P:-I’m always here as your sister! Not only a friend! Khushi! I really think that all this marriage is craziness but it’s ok if this will make you feel better and make Buaji feel good!

Payal thought a little that this will maybe a good decision as she knows the level of the sickness of Buaji…if Buaji will leave….then Khushi will feel alone…In her heart, she prayed that the future husband will be perfect for her friend…that his family will be good to her…

She helps Khushi wearing the saree…

A knock on the door…

Payal and Khushi look at each other for awhile…

Payal:-it’s ok! (she holds her friend's hands to support her)  I will open!

Kh:-I will see Buaji in the room!

Payal went to open…Khushi comes behind her…

Before she enters her Buaji’s room to call her…

She saw…something strange…

All the Raizada Family is there…

Nani, Arnav and Anjeli and Shyam…

No…

She doesn’t feel surprised…

The last thing she could think about would they are coming to ask for her hand…

She imagined many other versions but this…

She thought they are here to see her Buaji…

They are good because also they were there in the hospital and she couldn’t thank them enough…

“Namaste” exchanged…

An awkward moment was spend looking at each other…

After it…Payal invites them to have a sit…

Buaji comes greets them and sits on the sofa…

Nani sits beside her…

They exchange some talks secretly…seems like they know each other very well…

Anjeli looks at Khushi and finds her so beautiful…she couldn’t hide her smile…

Khushi was feeling all strange…she’s wearing the saree he pays for instead of giving it back to him…

Now, he saw her wearing it again…shame! She thought…angry against herself…

But why she’s even thinking about this! Now…

She's now waiting for the man who will be her husband, he would also come any moment!…now that the Raizada family is here…it’s maybe good that the future husband see and know that they have many friends also…

Nani:-Khushi beteya?

Khushi was lost in her thoughts…and didn’t answer…she felt the hand of Payal on her shoulder…and wakes up from her thoughts…

Khushi looks at them but she doesn’t suspect anything still…

She comes and sits beside them…

Nani holds both her hands…and looks at her all smiling:

-we are lucky…we can’t find someone more carrying, someone kinder and more beautiful than you to be our bahu…

Khushi looks at nani…

She didn’t understand what she was saying to her at all…or what she meant...

The words she just heard are they for real or no???? She’s not sure…

-Chotte is here and wanted to talk to you, also, before we fix the marriage date!

She looks at him with wide eyes…

From the moment he enters…she just looks at him once…

Nani kissed her forehead and Anjeli looks at her with a happy face…

How sweet they are….she should be happy…

But marrying a monster in such conditions is just so powerful for her…and she can’t realize all what was happening for her…

She just can’t…

He stands up…

Nani looks at her:

-as I said…chote wishes to talk to you before we fix the date!

Buaji:-you can go and talk in your room!

Anjeli:-don’t be shy Khushiji…he is your “would be” husband!

Anjeli smiles to that thought and looks at Shyam who is smiling too that his jejaji and best friend is goanna to marry a girl….Finally!

Khushi looks shocked but she’s trying to act normally…

Nani:-Khushi beteya! Come on! I’m sure you have things to tell to each other…

She stands up like a status…

…And she promised already to her Buaji…Goddddd!

She remembers the doctor’s words…

She couldn’t deny what her Buaji asks for…

She takes a deep breath…

And walks to her room…

Arnav follows her…

Now…both are inside her room…

Alone…he’s not totally a strange…but now he is!

Many thoughts were in her head and she couldn’t concentrate on one thought…

She couldn’t think…or feel anything…

Both stand before each other…

He looks at her…
