 FOR my Angel

Chapter 17:
Note: Playing all mean like many others...well I hate that kind of "blackmail"...but I will post the next update after getting 30 comments, only...thought this is fair for me...
 I'm not asking for so much thought...like, you maybe would enjoy reading my update, I certainly enjoy reading your comments ;)

 Connection...

 

He still closing his eyes…he moans and murmurs and his body still burning from fever now after feeling so cold…he’s feeling so warm…he pushes the blanket…

Khushi was there to take care of him…

The family comes again to see him but it was so late and Khushi told them to go rest and she will take care of him...Anjeli helps to make Lily sleep…Lily was scared because her papaa was so ill and weak…but khushi convinces her that he will be all alright if he take his medicines and that she will take care of him…

Nani wanted to stay with them and she finished sleeping uncomfortably in the sofa…Khushi wakes her up and told her to go to her bed also and that she will take care of him, properly…

Now…only her was with him…

When he pushed the blanket away…feeling so hot…his body started sweating again…

Khushi wipes his face with a towel…

And used other ones to put them in cold water and puts them on his forehead…

This can always help…and for her, it works even better than medicines…

She gives him water whenever it’s possible and takes his temperatures with thermometer, every one hour…

Arnav was really sick…the night he spends outside in the suhaag rat was a reason between many others…

 he’s also stressed all the time and those previous days, he wasn’t really careful about his health…he can spend a day without eating well or without sleeping well and thinking too much makes him even more stressed…

and of course his ego, guiltiness due to his attraction to khushi occupied his mind…since the day of their deal…

he closes his eyes…from the weakness he’s feeling now all over his body…

But still…he’s feeling that a soft presence was there taking care of this pain and trying to calm down what he was feeling…

like magic…some fingers…hands…her hands were taking care of every inch of him…with all the care needed and a reasonable affection…

the eyes closed…he’s feeling her hand checking his forehead…putting the cold towel on it…her hand checking his cheeks…

he heard some prayers…or interjection…

-for me God…for little Lily… he’s her father!...why this fever can’t decrease…just a little bit…

He’s hearing her footsteps all over the room…

And smelled her perfume…

Or feeling her hair caressing his hand, his arm…when she’s making him drink water…

She took his hand between her hands and she rubbed his hand like to save him but then he wasn’t able to concentrate too much…he slept that time, only and wasn’t able to feel anything else, after that…

When he opens his eyes in the early morning…he felt someone by his side…and it was her…

Sitting on the floor beside the bed…she was leaning on the bed…his hand still between her hands and her head was uncomfortably posed on the bed…

He tried to move but he can’t…he still feeling some weakness but thought that the fever goes away…

He wanted to call her but wasn’t able to wake her up…she seems like she just slept…like that and was all lost in her soft sleep…

Seeing her long hair and her angelic face…he has like a huge need to caress her cheek…he’s feeling thankful…he knows very well that she doesn’t sleep for the whole night…to take care of him and his fever…

But his hand going to touch her…pulled back…in the last minute…

He remembers how he pushed her and how he was all harsh with her…and even if he wasn’t harsh…he was all the way indifferent and so cold to her…he takes a deep breath…he’s like lost and in a dilemma…he’s not an unfaithful man…so why all those emotions for her???

Their suhaag rat was…was…

He escaped from her because…he was about to…to get closer…to get the more attracted…because her talks and her cuteness are beyond the reasonable…

He can’t be that much weak and forget for a girl he just met in few months, his past love…even for a minute he can’t imagine…

But for that…dear God!…he shouldn’t hurt her…right?...why he’s behaving like a stupid with her??? All that to make sure, she pulled back, she pushed him back…because he can’t do this, by his own…yes…he’s not confident about that!

He not sure that he will control that attraction he’s feeling towards her and to make sure that attraction goes away, he’s behaving that way…to make her escape him and to guarantee she will not try to get close to him…

And now…look at the destiny…she’s getting closer…and he was all weak to protect himself from that closeness…like it was a “punishment” or a maybe he should thought about a bless from God…he makes him taste a situation that he can’t push her away…and that she can’t deny him…and his heart is now beating more than the time he beats seeing her coming to him in that lehenga in their Shaadi…

He wasn’t able neither to push her, nor to take away his hand still close in between her hands…

She’s holding it like her life depends from that hands embrace…

It’s getting the more complicated in Arnav’s emotions, in Arnav’s mind, in Arnav’s soul…seeing an angel too close to him…she’s worried…she spends all the night taking care of him…in a soft way…yes…that soft way was the secret…every gesture she does while he’s lying without power…melts that strong, stubborn, severe man inside Arnav Singh Raizada and he’s staring now at that angelic face…

When he felt a movement from her side and he realizes he was staring at her…

He closes his eyes…pretending he’s still sleeping…

Khushi opened her eyes; difficultly…she felt a warm hand between her hands and looked up to find his hand…she gasped remembering he’s sick…. And gets up…feeling all her body paining from the uncomfortable sleep but she managed to touch immediately his forehead…

-thanks god! Thought the fever goes away…

She whispered….and covered his body well…

She looked at him…all thinking and then she left the room…

Her mind was dominated by him…

She wanted to cook for him something warm and soft and delicious…

She knows how it felts to be sick…he will not feel like eating anything, it should be a delicious thing to that he eats…

She was thinking when she saw that nani and Anjeli were already up with the breakfast…

-Good morning Khushi betii…is he alright now?

Disappointed that they prepare already the breakfast for him, Khushi nodded positively:

-yes and he has no fever!

Anjeli smiles…

She returned back to the room with them…

He gets up and eats a little from Anjeli and Nani was insisting to that he take a proper breakfast…

-What are you doing?

Anjeli almost shouted when Arnav was about to get up from bed…

-chote!!!! The doctor said three days, complete rest! Are you kidding me?

-what the…no way!...I should go to office!

-oh stop it, please chote…look! All were worried for you yesterday…especially Khushiji…she was all worried…

Arnav looks towards her and she looked to everything but him…avoiding his gaze…

-yes! chote! Please don’t make us and your wife worried again…and Lily too she was worried for you!

-where’s she?

He looked straight at Khushi’s direction…like she was the first responsible of where is Lily and that she should know about his daughter even more than her aunty and grand-mother…

Anjeli:-she’s sleeping, chote, in her room! I’m going to wake her up!

Khushi understands that he wanted to see her:

Kh:-I will bring her here!

******

In lily’s room…

Lily was sleeping…

To wake her up…

Khushi starts kissing her little hand, her palm, her wrist…

Troubled in her sleep…Lily starts to move in her bed…smiling in her sleep…

-maa…

She said still her eyes are closed…

-lazy baby…wants always to sleep till late morning…

Lily lazily keeps her eyes closed and she starts stretching up, cutely…

-ohhh…this little princess needs something to wake up…

Khushi smiling she starts tickling her tummy softly…

And that way, Lily wakes up immediately…

First question was about her paa…

And for answer, Khushi lifts her from bed to the way to the bedroom…

On the way:-your paa is alright! And he’s asking for you, my baby…

In the opposite of yesterday…This day, khushi spend it all with Arnav and Lily only…

Nani stays a little and then left for her pooja…

Lily brings her papers and colored books and starts working on them…

In the bed…beside her papaa…

Arnav was feeling better…but it was a chance for him to rest for once and takes all day to lay only in the bed and to watch his angel drawing and …

To watch her…

Khushi…

Still all worried for him…every time…he looks weakly at her…

She comes to check his forehead….

In the deep of his soul, he knows that he’s all right…in other conditions, he would be in his office, he doesn’t need to make her worried but seeing that concern in her eyes…he was comfortable to pretend that he’s all weak and unable to move an inch…

That was an opportunity to test how much she’s…carrying…

He’s tired with himself, with his ego…searching for all the reasons to don’t admit that she’s a carrying person and deserves all the happiness in this world with another man than him…with less of ego and an empty heart to love only her…

She doesn’t deserve someone like him….

But…he was just an egoist man…pretending he still weak to that she can’t leave the room…

Why he wants her to stay only there with him and his daughter in the room…

Only them!…he wished no one will disturb…even his di…even his nani…not even Shyam or Akash…

She feed him his lunch…and he has his medicines…

Her hair was long and every time, she tries to adjust the pillow for him…that hair caresses his arms…his face…like the scent of Lily’s hair…sweet and soft…she smells like a baby…yes…he noticed that even her hands were like satin…so soft…that’s why Lily was all the way, hugging and kissing her…now, he understands…she smells divinely nice…it kills…

Now…the two of them Khushi and Lily are doing some coloring on the floor…

Just in front of the bed…

His room never looked that much messy…

Lily brings all her coloring books and pencils….but it wasn’t enough, Khushi also has more of coloring pencils…

Lily:-oh! maa…got an idea…maa!

Lily looked at khushi all excited…

-which idea! Tell me!

-maa let’s do painting!

-what? But we are painting now!

-color and water maa…painting…

-oh! ! Got it! watercolor…ok! I have them…so many tubes of watercolors!

Khuhsi winked to her and Lily winked back but finished by closing both her eyes cutely…she can’t wink still…

Arnav could see all that…

Khushi and lily were painting their own artistic master piece…

Arnav was staring at God’s master piece…

When there is that light of the sun set…coming from the window…reflecting at their both faces…

Both are so busy with their colors…with their brushes…even they paint a little on their faces by mistake…

But they are amused and in heaven…

Arnav was pretending checking his phone from the start…his back supported by a pillow and he was looking at their antics for more than three hours…

He was mesmerized…

Discovering another level of cuteness…

Overdose of sweetness…

God loves him that much…

Yes!

Because he could see that at least once in his life…he could see angels on earth...

Khushi smiling to Lily who takes their painting to show her paa what they paint…

But…her paa has his eyes fixed now…focalized on Khushi…

Lily was tending the paint to Arnav…

Arnav still doesn’t pay any attention…looking at Khushi who still there in her place…a brush on her hand…her smile vanished seeing that he was staring at her…he wasn’t paying any attention to Lily who was calling her paa to see what she has paint with her maa…

her Paa…was in another planet…

And he just can't wake up…

Khushi gets up from her place…and went to the washroom…as fast as she can…

Avoiding that awkward situation??

No, it was to avoid that eye lock whish last for an eternity… 

to avoid his intense look...

to avoid that attraction...

that connection...

that strong connection that starts to be builded between them...even against their own wish...

@Najat: Sorry dear that I couldn't make her hug him...well...it's too early for that...even I understand what do you mean but couldn't ...but hope that you're satisfied about how much she takes care of him... ;)

@Mishti: I hope dear you understand what Arnav is feeling...I couldn't paint a man who will forget so fast about his first love...even if it's past!  he's now feeling attraction to Khushi and realzing that little by little...he's feeling Khushi now...so to protect himself from that feeling, he's trying to push her away from him by any way...in this update, he failed...we will see what will happen in next updates... 

@Ruki: please...just wait dear... still I can't make it hot from now :p they still so stubborn those two :p hope this update is not a slow one ^^
