 Chapter 22:

                                                           red cheeks...

 

After that hug…

It felt so different for Arnav…now, he’s thinking about her cuteness but also…about all of her…her eyes…her lips…her face expressions…her touch…her pouting and scared…her needing him that way…and how beautiful…how soft she is…so soft…

And it felt So different for Khushi…other emotions come off her little heart…she felt not only protected in his arms…but she felt that she’s a Woman…a complete woman…his way to hold her waist the more…and when he won’t let go…and the way he’s looking at her…

Things are not the same anymore…

It means when you taste the softness…you will not have enough…and Arnav was helpless for more…

Means no!...not like this! he fights that idea in his mind...

How can be like this…

He looks up at her innocent face and tried to delete again that idea…but he couldn’t…

He couldn’t stop…looking at her lips…her milky neck…the pink of her clothes stopping him to look further…he stopped to look up at her eyes all over again…she’s troubled…she wanted again to push him…he gets the more angry…and his hand tightened the embrace more strongly than the normal…

He only let off when Lily touched his cheek:

-Paa…can I play on your Laptop?

Lily is bored and she has enough of them looking at each other all the time, ignoring her…not that she bother but she’s broed that moment… :p

Arnav finally let off both of them…

Lily runs to the living room, to his laptop, she knows how to put a game there and Khushi tried to pull back and disappear from there but his hand was there in time on her wrist to stop her….

She looks down at his hand holding her and then looks up at him with questioning eyes…

-now time to tell me what make you cried that much this morning!

Khushi was shocked…at the same time her mind won’t stop thinking how to get out of his grip and out of this room where they are all alone without Lily…

She puts her hand on his hand trying to take off his fingers from her wrist…when she felt unable to remove his hand an inch…she looks at him with innocent and teary eyes…

-Lily…

She whispered first like to ask for help…and  to make him scared…if Lily comes, he will let off her...

-LIL…

she calls Lily again, this time, out loud when he stops her by putting his other free palm on her mouth…

Arnav:-what are you thinking you’re doing now? Why you’re calling Lilly? Don’t you see that I want to talk with you, damn it!

His palm covering her mouth…was covering half her face on its way…such delicate and small face can be covered totally by his strong and masculine hand…

Her milky skin was little in contrast with his skin’s color…but even that was kind of irresistible for him…

And the hand on her wrist took now again her waist…to make her soft body hits his hard one in a tortured way...

And when he felt that he’s dominating her easily with his body…with his hands…with his eyes…he takes off his strong palm from her mouth…

She breaths deeply…he puts only his index before her soft lips delicately and looks again at her eyes:

Arnav:-don’t dare call Lily, ok?

She nodded positively…

A:-why you cried all the morning?

She starts rolling her eyes…stopping and controlling herself from crying again…

A:-I can feel your pain for your buaji…and this is the first time you will sleep in another place, away from her…but…

She looks at him waiting for what he would say…

A:-talking to someone will help you…you can’t just hide all in your…

He hesitates…he felt the old Arnav coming back…her eyes were helping him to talk, to confess…

-in your heart…so, talk!

He took away his finger from her soft lips…

He nodded positively to courage her to speak out her pain…

Even if that wasn’t the reason behind her tears this morning…well, this was her ultimate pain…losing people she loved the most…and she’s scared about her buaji…insecure about her situation…about her buaji…and about her future…about everything…nothing was clear and permanent in her life...

He saw a tear running so fast in her cheek and his thumb comes fast to stop it…wipes it immediately…

He’s now crazy that he did that and reminds her…

-I…(sob) m…scared…I’m so scared…

She finally talks…

-I…can’t control (sobs)…my tears…I’m…in pain…

She said looking down and her tears are now dropping so much that he just took her closer...so closer in his both arms…locking her there again…and then delicately closes the door of the room with his hand to that Lily next room couldn’t hear the out loud sobs…

-shhhh…I know…I know…

He said all the more tightening the embrace…

-I will not let this happen…I will do the impossible…if it needs I will just make her travel in other country to get other treatment…why should we listen to one doctor…I will not just be silent damn it! No way…

Khushi closes her eyes listening to that…

She felt like she is in some dream…and she gave totally up to his words and his arms…his protection…and that feeling of safety…warmth...care...

She left his chest and looks up to him…

his serious expression, 

his concern, 

his care…

his sincere eyes…

him…

being the man…

the Man of her life…

she never felt this before…that she wants him in her life like hell…

and the truth that he’s hers just for the sake of Lily and he will never be hers forever…make her cry hardly again...

-I can’t…

She whispered sadly…  “you’re not my husband….the deal…you love another woman, still, I'm alone...” she thought without saying it out loud…

-don’t think too much! I’m responsible of all your needs, am I clear?

He is pushing the knife on her heart deeper inside… she’s out of breath…

He looks at her eyes being all red and teary…how can he get that pain away…words doesn’t work…he couldn’t breathe looking at her state…

Feeling unable man to calm her is killing him…

-believe me, Khushi!

He said like ordering her…it wasn’t a request…she should accept that fact….and then…without thinking too much…his lips kissed on her eyes…softly…kiss in one eye and then the other…it felt soft and it calms her sobs like by magic…his lips kissed little down…another kiss…comes on her cheek…and he just open his lips to wipe a tear there…by his lips, he just traces the way of her tear and takes away all the wetness on her soft cheeks…

he kissed and sucks literally all over her cheeks and then rubbed his lips and chin against her cheeks making both of them dry like no tears got there…

He has no hanky to offer her, now…so he used his own way to wipe her tears…by his lips and  his own cheeks rabbing softly there...and then he kissed again...those cheeks...those dears cheeks...

It was so soft and natural…that khushi was just closing her eyes…her hands clutching the collar of his shirt…

She doesn’t react…and he was like applying a balm on the wounds of her heart… it felt little hurt at first and then she let it be as it was really soft…so soft…and innocent…and right…legate…

 when she doesn’t react, he felt like she’s weak at that moment and he’s maybe abusing of her state…but he couldn’t stop…the temptation was strongest that his reasonable thought to stop…and he looks now at her lips...maybe due to her crying and her biting them from nervousness, her lips are naturally red, deeply red and…little pulpy…little hurt...little in need to be kissed by his lips...to be caressed by his kiss...

He looks at her eyes…waiting for her to open them to that he could see in her eyes, in her soul…he needs that…she’s breathing so heavily now…thanks god his both arms are there to protect her from falling or losing balance…

she felt his hot breath on her face...being a woman...she felt without even looking that he was about to kiss her on her lips...And suddenly, she hugged him again, hiding her face on his chest…for a little moment then all of a sudden also, she left his arms and runs away from him, pushing him hardly…as fast as she could, she disappear…

It was like a punishment…he got her…all of her…vulnerable and open to him…next second he’s empty hands…he felt that emptiness doubled…tripled…because it was sudden and little violent to him…because even he was all vulnerable and open to her…and when she pushed him that way, it felt not right and unfair...but he controlled his anger breathing deeply and smelling her scent all over his hands, shirt...all over him...

Of course Lily presence will never let the situation gone strange or awkward between the couple…

No, no, no…

She needs to eat dinner with them…

She needs to play with them…

She needs to talk, to ask, to make them talk also…and to make them forget a little about what just happened in the room…

her red cheeks....his almost kiss...

It was dinner time and they take the dinner in the living room…everyone his plate on his lap...

Again…he was looking at khushi…stealing glances at her and that…of course wasn’t unnoticed by little Lily…

She was eating but her eyes were moving from Arnav’s side to khushi’s side…

Khushi has eyes only for Lily…recommending her to finish her meal…helping her…

 but...

khushi’s cheeks are burning…it felt like he bitted her with his lips there but he has only rubbed his lips and cheeks.... he maybe smooched on her cheeks little bit hardly enough to make them all red…she washes them with cold water …still they are all red and burning…especially her left cheek…she got sensible skin…because it doesn’t hurt when he’s doing that…even now, it doesn't hurt but they are so red and reminding khushi that he kissed her there...

he kissed her all over there...

not only a normal and one kiss...

Arnav was only looking at khushi…

with some silent and guilty eyes..

what the hell he has done to her cheeks??!...

God!...they are all red now, and not due to shyness but due to the way he ate them up like a mad man…and she’s so silent and no once she looked at him…even by mistake…

what if he has...kiss...someting else????

 

After dinner, Khushi arranged the plates…cleaned the kitchen…more than once, she touched her cheeks to make them cold…and after cleaning the kitchen, she went to the bathroom…to look at her face on the mirror…it was so soft but the effect on her cheeks was like he kissed them widely…she caresses her cheeks…they are so hot even when she washed them again and again with cold water…her heart was beating the more…he kissed her on her cheeks and was about to kiss her lips…she felt it…his hot breath...

His words creating havoc on her heart and her stomach was paining from emotions that she couldn’t identify…she lightly touch to food, she couldn't eat anything but drinking water…thanks god, Lily doesn’t notice that…or notice her cheeks…

she tried to apply her BB cream on her cheeks to make it look better… 

the image of his eyes...and touch is burning her cheeks...but her heart also...but all over her body...why is she feeling like that? dear God...help! help!

 

and then she comes back to living room…all silent…

In the living room…there was both lily and arnav like waiting for her to come finally and that sight calm her down and she smiles lightly:

-mum, come…

Khushi looks at her…what she should do?...should she stay? How she could escape his eyes…those sexy eyes scanning her from top to bottom…

- we goanna play!...all together mumma...

Lily looks excited to her mum…smiling cutely....

What? Play? Play with him? Right now?....oh no! no!

K:-I…I’m sleepy…lily…thought I’m goanna sleep, now, you too with me!

-but…mum…mum! …please come!...want to play!

Lily stands up and goes towards khushi…circling her half waist with her tiny arms:

-jutht (just) for few time…only a little… paa will close his eyes and he will find us, if he catch me fitht (first), I lose, if he catch you firtht you lose!...

Lily explains clearly while Arnav was waiting for her answer…khushi’s answer…

Lily jumping to beg khuhsi more…and she kisses on her stomach many times while jumping, making Khushi  nod positively as she couldn’t refuse anything to Lily… Lily jumping now from happiness…

Arnav smiles and he starts searching a fabric to cover his eyes…

Lily looks at him:

-what’s happened my paa?

-lily…we need fabric to cover my eyes!

-oh!

Lily looks disappointed and looking all over the room…searching…

-no game, paa?...no clothes here, even…

Arnav looks at her, disappointed:

-ok! Let’s choose another game, angel!

Lily pouted…Arnav was thinking about sth else...Lily prefers that one game...

L:-oh no...

she looks down, sad and disapointed...

K:-no but here my lily!

Khushi smiles giving lily her dupatta:

-I used to play that game with it, me and …

Khushi was about to finish her sentence when she noticed what she has just do…and her dupatta was in lily’s hand now:

-here paa! Let’s thtart, now!

Seeing her excitement, khushi just smiles and they start the game…

Arnav with khushi pink dupatta around his eyes looking so cute…

While he’s searching them…khushi was worried if he hits the wall or if he falls…she was worried…

Lily was giggling touching him then escaping…he wasn’t able to catch her…

But the game in first round was only about Arnav and Lily…

Khushi was just looking …

-it’s unfair maa! You don’t play!

-oh but I’m playing!

Khushi tried to come near Arnav and she stands there…inches away…and of course with Lily around…it was impossible to her to not participate and the game starts…

And this time…lily was the judge…

Oh yes…she was the angel…unconsciously, the cupid...between them…

Hiding behind her maa…and giggled…

Arnav following the sound of her giggles and he walks towards the source…and of course, he hits khushi not hardly…but enough to make her lose her balance and catches his shirt to not fall down…or to not fall on Lily who is standing just behind her…

With a hand Arnav also catches her arm…and with his other hand, he took off the dupatta:

-I catch you…

He said huskily…

-I win!

He said looking straight at her eyes…making her heart beats like never before...

-yeeeey Paa win! Paa win!...now, me, paa, my turn! Cover my eyes, paa!

Arnav smiles looking at a confused Khushi…and then, looking down at his excited lily:

-close your eyes,little baby!

He asks lily and puts the dupatta around her head, covering her eyes…

Both him and khushi walk back to let lily look for them cutely…

-where are you?

She asked cutely, trying to cheat, moving little bit the dupatta from her eyes…she’s looking at them and acting she’s not…

-you’re here?

Asking them again so cutely that Arnav comes to her and just lifts her up…

-paa???

She takes off the dupatta…

-you shouldn’t cheat, I can see you’re looking at us!

-Paa!?

Lily was confused and pouted with her rosy lips…

This makes Arnav amused…the way they pouting same way…that was the cutter thing he can see in the whole word…

Arnav smiles…he’s happy man… he’s so happy and the reason was Lily and some other feeling…he looks at khushi…she still troubled and playing with two bangles on her wrist…he looks at her wrist and it’s too marked by him…little red due to his fingers trace on it…he stops smiling and looks at it with guilty eyes…he doesn’t mean to be harsh…in the contrary…he’s so concerned…he just want to be…attentive to her but look…the result…

What the…

He’s not able to behave with a woman normally…???

He’s not able to touch a woman softly now or what???

Her skin is so vulnerable…he thought…she got baby skin…so soft also…he needs to be careful...if he wants to touch her again…it will be good if he would be more gentle, using his hands on her…

Khushi was feeling even more confused…:

-let’s…let’s watch TV now…

She said to bring his attention to reality back…but it wasn’t enough…only Lily’s peck on his cheek could bring him back…

Lily is like understanding what is going on…

Unconsciously, she gives her paa the time to admire her maa and then when she felt her maa uncomfortable, looking at both of them with smart eyes…she always acts to stop him…but now many questions are in her little head…why her paa is looking like that to her maa? He takes so many time to look at her…without saying anything…and why her maa is looking down all the time…and she's troubled...

Lily looks at her maa...and then her paa…

So awkward…

she pouted...she's sleepy now...
