-look mere paa…look…our home…we paint it…

Lily gets finally conscious her paa wasn’t with her but he was actually looking at Khushi and that his gaze was following khushi…till she reached the washroom and closed the door and Arnav’s gaze still looking at the door closed…

Lily was little girl but a smart girl…even if she doesn’t really understand why her paa was looking and following like that her mum…but she noticed that… ;)

-paa…paa…mum is in the washroom now, please, look at my paint, now, paa…look…

she pulled his chin to her..

Arnav finally take a look at his daughter…shocked by what she just said but still he doesn’t get angry…

-paa…paint! (she pouted when she saw he's still lost in his thoughts)

-oh yeah beta…yeah so so beautiful your paint…but let it dry in here…on the desk next to me…

-paa…will you paint with us next time?

-yes, of course I will!

-paa…sure?

Arnav smirks:

-yeah sure!

-pakka promise?

Arnav looks at her…

-yes my lily!

That’s when Khushi gets out…she is looking all down and wanted to avoid him…she starts arranging all the mess they did Lily and her in the room…

Lily shouts:

-Maa!?! Paa finds it tho tho beautiful! our home we paint!

Khushi smiles but doesn’t look at their direction…

-Paa…maa…me hungry!

That’s when Khushi looked at her....at their direction…

Both Khushi and Arnav look at Lily…worried that it was time to eat and no one thought about that…about lily empty tummy…

kh:-oh! come my Lily! Come now with me! I will give you your dinner!

Lily nodded cutely:-yeah maa!

Arnav was wishing they will not leave him like that…but they did…

Yes…both leave him all alone…

Half hour, he spends all alone and couldn’t help but gets up…

When he gets up, he felts like he goanna faint but he washes his face and it’s gone…it was the effect of being all the day stuck in bed…

He comes downstairs…

Oh…

That’s why they forget about him…and his dinner!!!!

Because they all have the attentions on little Aryan having his dinner…

Khushi was holding him and Anjeli was feeding him…

-hum hum haaamyyy…yummy yeah yeah baby…took it like that…

Shyam:-softly…soft…yaar this is the first time my son eats with little spoon …

Aryaan baby took the food…have a little and took the extra out of his tiny mouth, making “pfffff” sound…dirtying all over his mouth…

All giggled…especially Lily…

-oh…oh..ooh…but baby…ok…here (Anjeli cleans his mouth)…have this now….

Anjeli gives him another spoon of his baby food…

And then…

-Paa!

-chote!

-saly Shaab!

All look surprised that Arnav comes out to bed...he still a little sick...

Arnav comes to them…

-I’m all fine, Di…so, please, not that look!

-but chote!

-no way! I want also to look at Aryaan having his first proper meal!

Arnav smiles and sits in the sofa in front of them…

Lily comes and sits on his lap…

Aryaan was taking his meal and all are looking at him, eating…

It was adorable…

That day, even Buaji was feeling good…khushi doesn’t forget to go to her…and spends time with her after make Lily dinning…and she stays there with her now…

Arnav took his dinner by his own…he has the bad idea of getting down and tell them all that he’s feeling well…no more soft hands to feed him or to take care of him…he regrets that…

In the room…he’s back also to his laptop to check his mails…and he's back to his boring couch…

He really doesn’t want to spend the night on that couch…

Not that he wants to sleep with her on the bed…

No, no, no…really?...no! he won’t!...but it’s just sleeping in bed is always more comfortable than couch!

It has been now two hours…and she still with her buaji…Lily should be slept now, so, he supposed that she’s there with her buaji…

And why he’s now paying all his attention to her?

Now…he starts missing her in the room…

He’s really unable to understand his heart…and unable to stop thinking about her, now…

Finally, she comes…

She knocks first…she knocked always before she enters when he is in room…he looks up at the way, she’s entering the room…all confused…and the way she’s looking at the whole room but him…he somehow starts to adore how she looks, her way to walk in…to open the closet, to get out her clothes to change, the way she’s avoiding him…his gaze…

She gets change…

After her, he went to change also…and he remembers that the last time he changed…she was her who takes off the shirt for him…she undressed him…he stopped at that thought…he remembers the way she was calming him and the way he was all shivering and cold and she wiped his chest…and he felt than some warm…

He should stop! Really!

He takes off that shirt…and thought about having a fast shower…

He puts the water on…

But…was about to get in...

He heard a knock…

-Arnavji?!

His heart skips a bit, hearing that…ARNAVJI…and that voice...so soft...

-yes! he answers hesitantly…

-don’t take a shower, now!

Is he hearing it correctly or she just orders him to not take a shower???

-Arnavji…if you take it than you will catch cold, again, you still…

He opens the door, aggressively; he wants to see her…to be sure he heard her right!

But he forgets that he was shirtless…

She was next the door so when he opens the door that way she comes right between his arms…

She gets shocked…looks at him with wide eyes…opened mouth…still in his arms and by reflection, he was holding her...

She nodded negatively like she was all nervous and she pushed him and pulled back…

-what the…why I couldn’t take a bath now? And why you’re pushing me like that?

He said angrily…he was all serious, now…

-Khushi!? answer!

He walked towards her:

-no one has disturbed me in my bathroom before! You know there are limits that we shouldn’t across! I will never disturb while you’re in bathroom so why you’re doing that!

-I…I know! It’s not one of my businesses! (his angry look vanished with those words) But…but…you still a little sick so you couldn’t have shower or bath, you could catch cold or…

-and ...does it matter?

She looks at him…she gets the more confused…about that man…

She doesn’t know or decide he’s a friend or an enemy or both…

She doesn’t know why her heart is beating whenever she looks straight at those chocolate angry eyes…

And why she always worried about him even if she knows very well that she shouldn’t???

She shouldn’t because he’s really not her type…she loved the soft, romantic men and here he’s harsh and severe and always angry like a laad governor… she got less words and examples to describe him…

If it’s not that chest all exposed to her eyes, she could find more words but now…how could she??? He thinks he’s handsome…he’s always misbehaving giving that “I don’t care” look…it sucks!

And moreover…he’s changing his behaviors like changing shirts… she hates that!

-no! it doesn’t matter! You’re free to take your bath whenever you want!go! just go! now and have cold shower! yes! go, go!

He doesn’t know why but he has a huge need to pin her to the wall just to make her scared of him…to just know if she could challenge him like that after being pinned by him…but he stops thinking like that…its wrong!

He closes his eyes to make all those thoughts disappeared…and he went back to the washroom…giving her a hard, severe , angry look!

He doesn’t take a bath but he makes the water on to that she could hear he’s having a cold bath…no she will not know that it’s cold but…it’s a shower! he’s a mad person sometimes but his ego wins on every situation…

He just washes his faces and shaves…changes for an orange t-shirt and his normal black pants to sleep…he gets out finally…

She was reading on a book…installed on his bed…his bed…she takes it! She’s all comfortable on it…that was his blanket too, thought but he gave all that from the first day…

She doesn’t look at him…even by mistake…not at all…her eyes on the book...

Which was very interesting on it??? on that book!!!! damn it!!!

He gets frustrated by that…no more of the spoiled yesterday and today…

-tchoum!

He Sniffs…

She looks at him victoriously, giving him that look which means “told you”…but he ignores her…opening again that laptop…which she hates above all...which was very intersting on that laptop!???

They heard a knock on the door…

It was Anjeli and she’s holding Lily…

Anjeli:-I thought she made a nightmare…

Kh:-baby!?

Ar:-angel, come to papaa…come to me!

Arnav lifts her from Anjeli's hands and Anjeli wished them Good night as she should come back to her baby…Arnav closes the door....

Khushi gets up from the bed too…

-baby!

Khushi gets worried too…

-are you scared angel?

Lily who was on her pappa’s arms nodded…

Khushi asked:

kh:-did you have bad dream??

Lily nodded…

Ar:-oh my angel! You don’t worry paa is here, na…how can a good and courageous girl like you gets scared about a dream!.??

-paaa…(she gets out of his arms)…paa…I dream about thpider man who wanted to come to our home!

Arnav hugged her…

Khushi giggled…"spider man?!!"

Arnav looks angrily at her…

Ar:-she hated Spider man! She has a phobia from him!

He explains…

Khushi smile vanished and she looks at Lily seriously…

-my baby! Please, forgive me! I thought no one gets scared of a man wearing always very tight clothes and that too red and blue...

Lily smiles lightly and jumps to Khushi arms…putting her head on the hook of khushi’s neck…khushi closes her eyes and kissed in between her hair…

kh:-I’m here my baby! Did you cry???

Khushi hugged her tight...and then breaks the hug to see her face…

Arnav seeing his daughter's red eyes gets angry:-how dare they create a fiction character who makes children scared!...you know my lily! That spiderman will never come to our house!

kh:-oh yes, yes!

Khushi kissed her forehead…

kh:-he’s not even living here in India!

Ar:-he’s far away!

They don’t know how…but the three of them are lying now on the bed…

Lilly in between…

Both convincing and calming her…

Arnav starts talking how he can beat the bad men hard and that nothing goanna happen ever to her, she's safe with her family…Lily starts feeling like sleeping…but khushi too was fighting to not give up by sleeping…but…she closes her eyes….and she slept…lily also closes her eyes and slept…

Arnav also…looks at them, smiles and slept…

Note: so...Promise is Promise my babies...
