The forced marriage : Part 51:

-Dadi…

Khushi murmured…looking guilty …

And dadi turns back to leave…

Khushi wanted to speak to retain her but Arnav’s hand holding her hand stops her from saying anything else…

He doesn’t want her to speak anything…

They hear dadi voice:

Dadi:-before you leave to work, come to my room!

She said firmly…

Arnav was a little pissed off of all that drama his dadi create…but…when he saw the face of Khushi, he doesn’t retain his laugh…

Khushi all worried…pressing his hand…let off him…

-what? Why are you laughing Arnav? She wants you in her room…did you just hear that?

She said with her teary eyes…

-yes …but I’m laughing because you’re seeing my dadi like you were seeing…I don’t know…some horror movie…

-Arnav I’m scared…I’m…

-it’s ok, Khushi…look at your face…it’s ok!...I’m goanna see what she has to talk with me…please, relax, ok?

-mmmm

Arnav stands up and then he walks towards his dadi’s room…

Khushi was in the kitchen…preparing the lunch…

She takes a decision…she will take the lunch for him, to the office…

This morning, he left the house from dadi’s room, so angry, he doesn’t want to show her he’s angry but he was, she could feel him…he can tell her that everything is all right but she knows that dadi has told him many hurting things…she could see that in his eyes…

Khushi prepared the pasta that he loves with so much love…she did that plate especially for him, for the others she makes something else…

Arranging everything for the family…she gets prepared and runs to Arnav’s office!

It was the lunch pause…so many employees are not in their office and Khushi doesn’t find the secretary, she enters….

He was there…all absorbed by his files and laptop….

Even when she locked slowly the door…he doesn’t hear…

When she slowly walks towards him….he doesn’t hear…or pa any attention...

But he stops typing in his laptop for awhile…feeling his heart beating too fast…

Khushi…he thought at her...

It can’t be…she’s at home…

He felt two hands cupping his face from behind…

And he closes his eyes…

If it was a daydream…let it be…if he’s now starting smelling her perfume in his office, feeling her hands on his skin…then …he’s ok…

Her arms hold his neck from behind:

Kh:-I love you being hard working like that!

She leaned more …and he turned his head to see her…her beautiful, lovely face, smiling like an angel…

Ar:-Are you kidding me?

He said…excited…holding her hand…making her sit in his lap…within a second…

He stares at her…still surprised…and she was just smiling to him…she kissed his cheek…

-I come with your lunch!...guess what?...pasta!....and guess what?, just make some cupcakes sugar free for you…that you can eat here in the evening, with your coffee…and guess what?...on my way, find something really sweet…strawberries and then I buy for all the family, of course, you can eat a piece now… and…taraaa…(she takes out a wristband from her purse) you like it?...it’s for you…so cute…Arnav…let me tied it for you…give me that hand…

She takes his hand between her hands…and then starts tying the wristband…and when she finished, she poses a kiss on his wrist…

-beautiful! (she said)…hungry?

Arnav was just watching her…he couldn’t say anything…before all what she was doing…saying…but he hugs her…he stays hugging her, like that…because in that moment no word will express his feeling…not even I love you…he was serious, affected by her surprise…he breaks the hug to see her face…he cupped her face…

-when I felt your hands…I thought….it was a dream…I forget that you only can make my dreams come true…

Khushi smiles…and when he keeps looking at her…starring at her eyes…she couldn’t handle it …it’s so difficult to keep looking at his eyes like that…without feeling that not only her heart was beating so fast but all her body, blood, hormones…all the mechanism of her organ was disturbed by only that gaze…so…she hugs him…yes…hugged him to that she doesn’t have to face his gaze…it kills!

She breaks the hug and she could stands up from his lap…to arrange the lunch for him…she takes it off the bag and starts making an empty place in his desk to put the plates…Arnav stands up in order to help her but seems like the dirty mind of Khushi makes her thinking that he goanna do something she closes her eyes and murmured:

-No…no…

Arnav looks at her:

-No? you don’t want me to help you?

Khushi opens her eyes and seeing the innocent eyes of Arnav, she answers:

-yes, of course you can help me…

Arnav arranged a little his messy desk to that they can put the plates and have their lunch together…

It’s Arnav who serves the food…putting equal quantity in each plate…smiling and enjoying their little lunch…khushi asks him:

-how do you find it?

Arnav looks at her, he still eating…

-just… simply, obviously delicious…can eat it for the rest of my life

-oh! you’re just too nice today!

Arnav smiles:

-I’m too nice everyday!

-mmm…not every day but mostly…

-what?!

Arnav  holds her hand to pose a kiss…and again, Khushi closes her eyes…breathing heavly…

-Arna…v…please….don’t…..

-please don’t…what? (Arnav said admiring her beauty and cuteness, he smirks)…baby… I’m not going to do anything…

Khushi opens her eyes…

-what?! (she said surprised that he guessed about what she was thinking)

He smiles…and leaned to her ear and whispered:

-you know…I want to do many things with you…finding that purple saree so…so sexy on you…and when you close your eyes like you just do…it’s just so difficult to not eat you alive…but…

He pulled back…looks at her…worried:

-I have those two stupid people who just calling me…they want to talk to me and that too, here…

-two stupid people?

-who else than Aman and Anjeli!

-oh!

-yep!...now, they are taking an appointment from me…because they want to discuss only here and not before the family!

Khushi touches his cheek…finding him worried…

-listen to them Arnav…please!

-yes…ok! (he said with a boring look)

He looks at her:

-Khushi…

They hear a knock in the door:

-I think, they are here…Arnav…I’m leaving!

-No, you stay!

-they want to discuss only with you!

Arnav looks at her angrily:

-stay!...it’s better that you’re here…come in!

Arnav said loudly and it was Aman and Anjeli who enter…all worried but when they saw Khushi, Aman breathes deeply and Anjeli smiles, nervously, to khushi… they said ‘’hi’’…

Arnav: -hi! Please have a sit Mr. and Mrs. Trouble!

They sit…

Arnav:-so…what was that important topic you want to discuss!

Aman: -We are here to tell you, ASR, that we sincerely want to marry each other

Arnav:-I heard this before…Did I refuse that?...but guys there is something we call engagement to that you could know each other more and…your parents are in Australia Aman, we should wait for them till they come back…then the families…

Anjeli starts crying…Arnav saw her tears…and starts losing his calm…

Arnav:-Anjeli! What’s that drama?...tell me if I’m wrong!

Aman:-Arnav, my parents aren’t a problem, they can come as soon as possible, if I call them!

Arnav:-what was all that Aman?...why all this drama?...you know that she’s my unique sister and I want to her marriage to be memorable… and then I need time to accept the idea that you will be my brother in law…

Khushi giggled and Arnav looks at her, amused…

Khushi:-Arnav is absolutely right! I think Anjeli should think twice before marrying Aman…

Khushi and Arnav are in the mood of making jokes…all amused…teasing the couple…

Aman and Anjeli are more stressed, hearing all that….

Aman stands up:

-I’m sorry ASR…but with or without your ok, I’m goanna marry her…I’m informing you, our marriage will be this month!

Arnav looks at him, suddenly, his smile vanished and so the smile of Khushi who was shocked…

Arnav can’t believe what his friend just said…and he murmured:

-what?

-what do you just hear ASR!

-did you take some drug, before coming here?...how dare you talk to me like this?

Arnav leave his chair and walks towards him…

His eyes are fire…of anger…

He pulled Aman’s collar, aggressively…Khushi stands up to stop him…but she couldn’t…Aman don’t make any move to defend himself…he was just looking at Anjeli in the other side…

Arnav:-repeat what you just said! I want to hear that again!

REPEAT DAMN IT!

He yelled…but Aman didn’t react…or say anything…

Arnav:-what about I delete you from this globe Aman Dogra!

-Arnav! (Khushi tries to calm him)

But the two men are like two bodies of iron…

Aman:-Sorry ASR! I’m sorry but we can’t wait! This marriage…

-this marriage, only me, I will decide when it will be…am I clear?

-ASR! ...

-Arnav!

Khushi yelled desperately, walking towards Anjeli’s chair…holding her…

-Arnav,… I think she lost her conscience!

Khushi hugged the unconscious Anjeli in her arms…and before Arnav realizes anything, letting off Aman…

Aman runs to Anjeli and carries her…like a husband carrying her wife…he puts her delicately in the sofa and yelled:

Arman:-Khushi please…call the doctor! Doctor!...she’s …she’s…doctor!

Arnav was shocked…it was like he’s sawing a bad dream…

His sister crying and she faints only because of this Aman….

This Aman…coming…challenging him…deciding things instead of him…daring look up straight in his eyes…and now…he’s taking care of his sister…like she was…she was really his legal wife…

When the doctor comes….and tells them that they don’t have to be scared and tells them to go out because she wants to examine her…

Arnav retains himself from beating him, outside…Khushi was just calming him down…putting in that all her energy… “please…please…Arnav…for me!”

Arnav doesn’t know why but now…just the presence of Aman makes him angry…

The doctor went out:

Arnav:-doctor! She is alright?

Doctor:-yes…you don’t have to be worried…in her case…that’s can be frequent!

Arnav repeats all worried:-her case!?!

-yes, you know, a pregnant woman face always those kind of…

-pregnant?!...who? my sister?...(the lady doctor nodded) please doctor come back to her, now and do your job properly!

-Sir please!

Aman looks at him…and in his look…Arnav can understand that…yes…his sister is…pregnant!

Khushi was about to faint…also...seeing the way Arnav looks at Aman…

All her words and did couldn’t help…when Arnav pulled Aman to another cabin and locking the door behind them...
