My girl: chapter 11:

journey to Lucknow...(1)

They planned Monday morning, they will meet in front of her house and then leave together to Lucknow…the weeding will be on Sunday but the bride and groom families will celebrate all the week this wedding, so all were invited to spend all the week there in the luxurious mansion in Sheesh mahal…

He will come to take her, of course they will not travel with bike, and they decide to take her car…

When the door is opened…

He doesn’t have the time to admire her…she pushed him inside:

-my father is here! And wanted to see you before we leave!

When he enters, Mr Shashi was there, smiling:

-Arnav! Good morning!

Arnav looked at his face…it means he’s Garima’s husband or ex husband…he saw like a severe old woman sitting beside him…looking at Arnav with disgusting expression

-she’s dadi!

Khushi whispered in his ear

-so severe! Don’t mind!

Ar:-good morning!

While Arnav was confused, Khushi was amused seeing him like that…

Shashi:-Arnav! I know you will take care of my little daughter! Still, I should send a bodyguard with you, to protect you!

Kh:-Dad!  No need!

Shashi:-Oh yes!

Dadi:-no arguing about that! Send even two!

Arnav:-or four!

Arnav said ironically, he hates already dadi by just noticing the way she was looking at him from head to bottom

Kh:-but Akash will be already behind us with his car!

Shashi:-khushi! enough! Time to leave now! Take care, ok?

-yes!

She said kissing his cheek and the cheek of her dadi

Dadi whispered :

-I hope he’s only a friend! Like you said!

Khushi just smiles and winked to a Dadi who is fuming…

Khushi and Arnav left…

He hated rich people…so damn pathetic and hypocrite…

He was imaging a journey with only her and him and here there was a driver and bodyguard sitting in front and him and her in the back and yeah …the little cherry on the top, he thought…another one (bodyguard) comes and sits beside him…

Not even a chance to speak with her properly…

She looks at him, he seems surprised, frustrated and angry…

Khushi also has enough of her father and dadi, she knows that it’s a simple wedding and she was going with her friends too…what was the point to send all those men…

But, her father was informed about what happened with Shyam that day…and of course he’s reacting that way, being over protective….

Khushi smiles looking at Arnav, she’s also frustrated, she whispered in his ear:

- sorry!

She holds his hand …

-I know you don’t like all this! But it’s ok! Let’s bear them a little (she whispered in his ear)

When she was so close from him, she could smell him…he’s fresh and smells that soap he used…

Kh:-being my boyfriend means meeting my severe family and bearing those men along with me!

She said to make the atmosphere soft…

He’s looking at her a little angrily but couldn’t do more…he doesn’t speak…he’s silent…

She starts playing with his hand on hers…with his fingers…touching with her hands every finger…

He stops her by taking away his hand…

-you know, you should act like you were my real boyfriend! …remember the deal?

He looks at her but silently…

She looks at his neck:

-mmm you’re my boyfriend from today, till Sunday night!

She said but he was silent…she looks at him and to break this silence, she said:

-where is your locket?

Silently, he puts his hand on his pocket and takes it off, she takes it from his hand:

-how beautiful!...it’s writing a big A…first letter of your name with a date?...your birthday?

-you thought I born in 1979?

Khushi was reading it!

-yes! Not you!...your mum?

-mmm…the locket is hers and she gifts it to me!...her name is Aarti!

-Aarti (Khushi smiles)…and your dad?

-My dad is Sadeeq!

Arnav said seriously…

Her hands on his locket gives him goose bumps, he felt her so close to his life and past…and parents…

When she looked at him, he hoped she will not ask for more about that story…he, himself, he doesn’t know very much and what he knows makes him sad, so sad…

Kh:-from my mum, I didn’t know anything, even about their marriage or how they fall in love…

She said looking at him, those beautiful eyes full of tears…

-it’s ok!

He said to comfort her…she will know soon…he was waiting for the moment to tell Garima, to confront her…and then to tell Khushi about the truth…

She looked at him and poses her head on his shoulder

The locket still on her hand…

He looks to the other side and then to her …

He smiles again, amused by the way she was telling all that, her eyes bright also like a kid…and she smiles too…taking her place closed to him in the car…

Kh:-your favorite color?!

-I don’t have!

-come on! Please…for me, it’s pink and white! And you?

-ok…black!

She smiles silently and looks at him, seriously, now:

-mmm...Arnav …have you ever fall in love?

He looks at her…

-I refuse to answer!

-please!

-if I ask you the same question?

-I was thinking I felled in love but seems like it wasn’t that!

-I don’t know! I wasn’t able to know that when you don’t feel safe with someone than you better stop being with him!

He looks at her:

What if he’s in love with someone else…who? Another girl? Maybe nicer! Maybe as good as him…maybe so cute and generous…maybe he should have hug her? Maybe he’s now thinking about her???...or kiss the way he kissed her or maybe more….maybe she would have seen all of him…touched his body…kissed him inch by inch…taste his love…he said I love you to her…maybe she was waiting for him, now…maybe she has the opportunity to be his girlfriend without a deal…and maybe…maybe…

She looks at him…

The good mood of the previous moments transformed into a bad atmosphere…

He looks at her…

She looked at him…

He was looking straight at her eyes…he smirks…

She tries to avoid him but he has her hand and she was pinned against the car’s door and him…

He nodded negatively his head…

She looked at him…

He smiles…

After a while…

She smiles too…

That no was an answer…

He doesn’t fall in love before…

Okay!

It was crazy all that…but she’s feeling good…now…

They were acting silently…

She opened the car’s window and the breeze comes strong, attacking her face…she wanted to breath…she felt all blushing after that wait for his answer…

Why? She wanted him to say no?...because she doesn’t want him to feel anything for another…

Damn it! She’s feeling already that he’s…he’s for her…she doesn’t know how but…it’s like that…

Arnav feeling the breeze caressing violently his face…it was clod…but refreshing…what was that?...she smiles because he said no? because he never fall in love…firstly, he should know what was love?...

Her hair comes to caress his face…

Again covering all his face…

Fresh sweet soft smell of her hair comes to him…

He wanted to take her hair away but he couldn’t the breeze was so much strong…

When she turns his side…

She takes her hair away…

But again…the wind was strong making her hair and his hair flying…

She smiles shyly…

And he smiles to her…

Both trying…

And it was like a romantic movie…

Even more beautiful…

Like a dream…

A soft one…

Their eyes meet…

And some words was said without using words…

He slowly leaned…

Looking at that angelic face…

She thought he will kiss her…

She closes her eyes tight…

She felt his fingers taking her hair behind her ear…

And then she felt the wind was stopped and she opens her eyes to see that he returned to his place…and then the window was closed by him…

And the bodyguard next to him was looking lazily at the both of them…like he was watching a romantic drama…

Khushi noticed him to stop looking and he automatically turns his face to the other side…

She looked at Arnav and they both burst out from laughing…
