The Deal

He stops and looks at her…in her eyes…

He could see she’s shocked and nervous and troubled…

Khushi looks at him…for awhile…she doesn’t care…neither he’s making her scared nor she was ready to listen to him….she wants to talk so...she continues talking to him…pointing him by her index….

Khushi looks at him with questioning eyes…she takes her index away and looks at him…

Kh:-Talk! (she said all troubled, the cheeks red from anger)

He was about to talk but again, angry like her but…she cuts him…

Troubled, she couldn’t find her words…

He was angry but cold and indifferent….

She was angry but the blood is boiling inside her and many thoughts are fighting in her brain….just be imagining him being her husband…she looks at him…he goanna be her husband….

Sleep with him?...and maybe she will also have to kiss him...what???....her gutter mind was on for awhile…she looks at his lips…and then looks down immediately…like a teenager…she felt shy and she regrets that look…that “not innocent” look…

Arnav looks at her…he was already angry by all what she said to him within a second…but God! Why? Why he’s finding the way she angry that much childish…and…that much…NO! NO! Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada….!!!

He felt that he was enough passionate…he didn’t say anything about all that…and here he wanted to talk and she’s talking non sense…with those eyes staring at him and then looking down and then back at him, challenging him…

He felt that awkward feeling and then all angry anew, he said:

Ar:-ok! So you’re not agreeing about that! Fine! I was here to preciously ask you about your opinion before we fix the date!...ok…then…

He was about to leave the room but she shout…

Kh:-NO!

He turns his head to look at her…

Yes, she intrigues him…that girl…she will drove him crazy…

She looks at him all serious…a thing that he should know now…she should tell him about, she tell that firmly:

Kh:-if I’m going to marry you, you should know that I’m doing this only for the sake of my buaji…

She said that in one go and eyes down, she prays her Devi Maya secretly and then after awhile she looks up to him…to his reaction….if he will go she will not retain him…and about Buaji promise…she could marry any other boy…right?!

Arnav looks at her…he seems to be little surprised about her frankness…he was about to reply when his mobile rings…

He hangs up immediately …

Khushi looks shocked at him, first and then she takes her time thinking and looking at him…

And by that “deal” or like that they arrange them to call it…not only their engagement was fixed for the next Saturday of the same week…

But their marriage will take place the same month…

Khushi shivered when she heard that less than three weeks and she will be Mrs. Raizada….

And because Buaji can’t stay alone after the marriage of Khushi…both will remove to RM…

Both: Buaji and Khushi….

Kh:-what about Lily?

They all look at her…

Nani:-what about her?

Kh:-I mean…we should inform her that I’m goanna enter her life…I’m goanna be with her…

Arnav looks at her…

Lily doesn’t know about that story about him marrying Khushi…

It was Khushi who comes especially for her…that same day…she comes along with Raizada Family, letting Buaji with Payal…only to talk with that angel…and to be honest…because she missed her too much…

Kh:-my baby!

Lily cupped Khushi’s face in between her tiny hands…and she looks at her…and then she hugged her tight…tighter…Khushi could feel her little heart beating too much…from happiness…

Lily was playing on the carpet in the floor…and now Khushi was on the floor…and Lily was standing and looking at Khushi like that…

She missed her Miss…her father explains to her that Miss is absent because her Buaji is sick but still…she missed her…and that too too much!

And then she has the idea to ask…:

Lily:-your buaji…fine?

Her look and her voice and her innocence and the way she asked her about her Buaji makes Khushi all vulnerable…two tears come out of her eyes…

Kh:-she’s fine for now…you missed me?

The little angel hugs her so tight again…Khushi smiles at that power Lily puts to hug her every time…

Lily:-me…I love you…

Kh:-and me…I love you more!

Lily smiles satisfied about her Miss’s answer…she’s happy now…

She pecks her two cheeks and Khushi does the same, pressing more…

Little Lily presents her toys and dolls to Khushi…

Khushi played a little and then she takes Lily on her lap…

-you want me to be always with you?

Lily nodded positively…

-so you want me to stay with you? (Lily nodded)…what if I will be living here with you…

-you?...you can?

Khushi smiles and nodded…

Lily smiles and excited, she gets up…

-will you?

-you know for that…I should mmm…marry your…marry your papaa…means me and your papaa should be married to that I can stay here…

Lily looks at khushi all thinking about all that in her little head…

-want you marry him, please…and thtay (stay) with me?...Paa is good…he’s good…and nithe (nice)…he has many books…he can tell us both many many thtories (stories)…he knows all flowers names and he…

Lily takes a deep breath as she talked too much, putting all her energy and looks at Khushi with her cute, innocent beautiful big eyes…waiting like a little cat…for khushi to talk… to say something …

But Khushi was fascinated how that little baby gets it and how she talks praising her papaa and how she’s convincing her to stay and to marry him…

She smiles to her…

Lily serious face transformed to a happy face…

She holds Khushi’s neck…

-I will marry your papaa…

Lily smiles…

Her noise touching Khushi’s noise…

They have that embrace that only mums and daughters know about it…

-you’re my mum now?

Khushi nodded…without breaking that tight embrace…

Both need each other…

Arnav was present during that entire private discussion…

He wasn’t seeing one angel…

But two…

Khushi was a gift from God…

An angel…sent from an unknown place…

To make his own angel happy…

He felt safe…

He felt good…

He was ready to make Khushi stay with them from this evening…
