She adjusted her tight elegant black skirt as she got on the elevator …

She takes a look at her watch…9 o’clock…god, she’s so late!

She looked up, the doors of the elevator were about to close but a hand is coming in between to stop the process…the door got opened again instantly and she saw a black three pieces suit, a white shirt and a blue tie coming in…

She doesn’t look up to see the face, she just pulled back to make some space…

About space…

Why should she even move…the elevator was empty…there is only her and the black suit…but she couldn’t understand why, the elevator seems so cramped all of a sudden, she has to take one corner and hide in there because…she doesn’t know what’s happening

She could hardly breathe…

Is it because she doesn’t have any time to eat breakfast today?

Or just…

No!

Here she arrived to her destination, her floor…

And here…she could feel home…she adores her job, in the Marketing department

She rushed out when his voice stopped her

-miss…Khushi Gupta

What?!

Ok…that wasn’t the first time a stranger in this building call her by her name as she’s wearing the badge containing her photo with her full name

But this voice…this familiar voice…

-yeah?

She looked up at the face of the black suit and…

She couldn’t believe her eyes…

Him…

He doesn’t seem to remember her but she does

He handed to her a hair clip

-you dropped it

She nodded…not really sure that if she speaks up, she will be able to make any sounds

He handed it and disappeared again in the elevator…it was so fast to even be more sure that it’s really him…or is it her imagination???

Wow…his breathtaking face

Wow…his dark eyes just made him savagely gorgeous

His smell…intense…it should his body wash

Khushi takes a deep breath…she should stop…what’s happening to her?...why she finds this man all enthralling? Is it because he made her think about some ghost from the post or is it because he’s so perfect to be true?

If he’s really Arnav then he would recognize her…

She’s not sure about it but if he’s working right in this building that means that he was working in the most prestigious company in Mumbai

-Miss Gupta! Finally you’re here! We have an urgent work…

Her assistant said urging her to look at some papers…

-we have to work at this project and…Miss Gupta?

Khushi still stunned from the morning sight, she looked at her assistant Lavanya with wide eyes…she’s speaking always so fast like that and all the work is urgent for her and it’s not really helping

-My morning tea first of all and then I will see this

Khushi said firmly, closing the door of her desk

She’s never been this rough to any one in work but today was difficult from the start…she’s normally firm and serious but never rough

She felt little guilty after seeping in her hot tea, so she called Lavanya and starts the work…

She worked so hard…

Only the work could make her forget herself and everything, everyone around

She forgets about the three pieces black suit of this morning but in her lunch pause, she couldn’t but doing her searches on the internet

She wants to be sure that he was no one but Arnav

She puts the name of the company and then Arnav…she doesn’t know his full name…but it was enough to type Arnav with the name of the company

She trembled instantly when she saw the huge picture of him in the official site of the company

God! she never saw that they updated the site of the ASR company …when???!

Wait!! ASR?

A…could it be this the initial of Arnav!?!

Yes! Yes!

Damn it! Arnav Singh Raizada! ASR!

His name is Arnav singh Raizada and he’s her first crush…

She’s working here since two years and still it’s only today that she meet with him!!!?!

And he’s the CEO of the most famous company in India

Her first crush??!

He’s even more handsome than in her memory

But he doesn’t remember her

But he’s here, ten floors higher there is his company…he’s been working just next to her and she wasn’t aware of this…

She just…she can’t…believe this

She stands up, walked around in her office and then, decided finally to take her lunch out of the office and out of this whole building…

This immense building seems to be suffocating for her, she walked fast towards the elevator and once inside, she regretted it, she shouldn’t leave her office, what if she meets again with him?

She doesn’t have anything to tell him and she already forgets about the past!

Actually, nothing happened between them in the past

Nothing but one smile and two looks …she was young and he was young too…she has crush on him and that’s it!

He never expresses that he feels something towards her…

She walked out of the elevator…almost running…she really wants to breathe some fresh air…

She looks at the main door of the building like her life depends on that door of freedom

And then…

Running with high heels wasn’t really the best idea in this world…

She stumbled and she closed her eyes tight, waiting to hit the floor…she’s falling and she knew that there is anything stopping this fall to happen

Yes, there are so many employees who are in their way also to leave the building for lunch but here no one is paying any attention to the other…all seem so busy and in hurry

Instead of feeling the hard floor, khushi felt a hard pull on her waist…

two strong hands holding her slim waist so tight and like a miracle, she finds herself standing straight

-why running so fast when you’re not able to do it safely?

She can’t believe this

She’s meeting him two times in the same day???

She opens her eyes…she’s not really ready to meet him again but…she can’t keep her eyes close for so much time

He’s there…Arnav…his eyes…she can recognize that tension and powers in them…his attractive chocolate eyes aren’t the ones she can easily forget…

She kept looking at him; she felt that she’s back to her teenager’s behavior…

She felt her cheeks are going red and she was trying to stop that attraction but she can’t, she simply can’t

-you’re welcome!

He said ironically when she doesn’t thank him

But she kept silent…he doesn’t remember her?...he doesn’t at all?!

But…she already has fallen in between his arms once…

Doesn’t he remember this??

-are you ok?

He asked looking at her…

What?...this question…he asked it before…and he’s asking her today with the same concern…same care than in the past

Her heart starts to beat so fast

-I…I should go…

She said while walking back…

But…suddenly, he held her hand

She looked at him shocked…

-wait! Are you sure you’re ok?

When he looked at her…she can’t stop looking at him back and she can’t even move now

She nodded positively

Unable to say anything else from shyness…

she knew it…she could never go throw this shyness of her, especially in his presence…with him holding her hand like this

she takes her hand difficulty from his and stepped back

-I ‘m truly fine…

The voice seems not hers…she’s shy, stressed, troubled…she felt all strange …she lost every self control…

And the most embarrassed thing that she knew that he’s aware of her state and he’s even amused…the grin in his eyes are saying all…

She wants to run from there

Now…

She stepped back again

-careful if you want to run again!

Was the last sentence she heard when she walked away of him so fast…
